Expectations

When Does Advisory Take Place?

Advisory will take place every Wednesday from 10:26 am to 12:28pm.

This time will include all lunches.

How Will Students Be Placed?

Students will be assigned an advisory teacher by grade level.

What is Normal Advisory Time?

Students will regularly open Schoology and check their email and Advisory page.

Students will open PowerSchool to check their grades.

Advisory is not a free hour--students need to be working on something academic.

Students will be getting academic support with their requests.

Requests are not optional (students must report to the requesting teacher).

If a student’s grade is below 70%, they should be seeking our intervention/requests from their teachers.

Students will be requested by teachers during waves A-C using Securly Hall Pass System.

If students are not requested, students will work on a Menu item of choice or choose to complete coursework.

Students will work on designated school wide activity during wave D.

Students will be able to go to a requesting teacher for help and ​make up course work.

Students will work on activities designated by Advising teacher.

Students will work on activities from the choice board.

Students will be able to attend guest speakers and assemblies.

Students will work on designated school wide activity.
